Here I was expecting all the controversy in this thread to be around the OP's use of the term: "incurably gay chess pro".

But surprisingly no one brought it up lol.

Of course you're absolutely right, Kyanite 111, and now I understand it too: you shouldn't expect the controversy on a thread to be about its actual topic, but rather, for example, about a self-deprecating pun by its author.
However, I am curious to find out what substantial fodder a discussion about the term 'incurably gay chess pro' could provide for a controversy about human sexuality.

What if those looking for stale controversy gave a party and .....
