Dear Thibault Duplessis! Please let me know if it is possible to delete messages from the chat or from personal messages. If there is no such function, then you can add it, please.
I'm not Thibault, but hopefully my post still helps. Personal messages can be deleted, in UI there is a trash icon on top, which allows to delete the messages from particular player. Speaking of chatrooms, it depends on what kind of chatrooms? Tournament creators can delete messages with a timeout for 15 minutes option. In other type of chatrooms, for example, private game, you cannot delete them. You can, however, report insulting messages to lichess moderators. If chatroom is making it hard to focus on your games or in any other way disturbing, there is a way to disable it by ticking on a green icon once. Chatroom will still be there, but you will not see messages in it or alternatively try a ZEN mode, which only shows chess board during the game.

If you click on the top of the basket, not the message will be deleted, but the chat where someone corresponded
