Openings Training

With the opening explorer as a reference things wouldn't become much better since it doesn't work properly. Apart from that the machine doesn't know about critical positions and typical patterns. The positions and solutions should be picked by humans. There are plenty of good players on this site who could submit some positions from for their favourite opening or line. Then someone generates a database out of the submissions, and, boom, we instantly have a working opening trainer.

The program openings training propose 4 moves after :
1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nf3 Bb4+ 4.Nbd2 b6 5.a3 Bxd2+ 6.Qxd2 Bb7 7.g3 0-0 . In my database i have 123 games in all these games white plays 8. Bg2. Very normal isn'it ? But Lichess's program wants more ! His four moves ! :-)
So ok maybe for 8. b4. But the others moves are 8. Qc3 (thanks for Ne4) and 8. Qc2 (thanks for Be4) Curious moves !! I can't find this so after 8. h3, 8. Qd1 I propose the classic gambit 8. d5 and...... RED !!!!!!!!!! Je suis raide !! This training is making you crazy !

Of course I look to my database after I prospect by myself... when the red is already here...

Program propose the game 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 g6 3. g3 and now 4 four black moves. I see only Bg7, Nc6, d6. He refuses Nf6, d5 ... possibles active and correct moves. Four moves gasp.... I propose his loving moves : a6 (he said good move but you can do better. Really ?) then I propose h7-h6.
RED ! RED ! RED ! RED ! RED !
RED for h6 !! Why ?? Maybe useful later.
I try Qc7, Qb6, Qa5. Then Bh6. GREEN ! The correct answer was Bh6. What about the strange Bh6 ? What that's move ? Pluton move ? ET move ? So Bruno -15 points....

ahahah that's amazing. why are you still trying? :p

some expert human input in these training things could go a long way towards making them better

Another crazy example !

1. e4 c5 3. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nc6 5. c4 Nf6
The megabase (looked later of course) gives 6. Nc3 played in 410 games and 6. Nxc6 in ten games. Not other moves : normal. We do not see what. Let us try 6. f3... The program refuses. What is the third move which he wants ? there is not !!!
The pawn e4 is a good present. I try all the bad 6. Be3 which loses a pawn and in reply the program qualifies this move of " lovely but can do better "!!
There is really an error of conception of the application !!
I try as a last resort 6. Qd3 which is horrible because Nb4 or Ne5 and it is the third move which he wanted. I want to die.

Something wrong with the line. (3)2...Nc6 and 4.Nc6

The program don't give us the moves order, but it's the good position after the moves i give.
