Training & opening rankings

Why there are no ranking for training and openings? I think this will be pretty interesting.

It would be pointless, because you can easily abuse the system, and the number of puzzles is capped at 10,000 anyway. And yes, people really will cheat themselves.

Unlike games, puzzles are meant to be comprehensively solved, so there is no way to stop cheaters.

Above all, I don't think the competitive element really belong to puzzles and introducing such an element misses the point of the careful, deliberating and often self-deprecating analysis that puzzles demand.

There are ratings for training and opening. They're at the bottom of your profile:

#3, XxTDSxX is asking for rankings, not just ratings. That means a leaderboard of the people with the highest training ratings, etc.

If we introduced that, I guarantee you it would be full of engines in no time

Ratings in training and correspondence have the rather big drawback of not taking time use into account, as there is no fair way of doing this anyway.
This should inform anyone that they are of very limited use.

Timed puzzles could have rankings - the faster u solve it the more points you get. It will be tough for cheaters, as it will require to insert position very fast, nobody will try do it.
If u want more info look how this system works on chesstempo. U could just copy that idea to lichess.
