Grandmasters are overrated

@googlecash If each players start time could have secured a 10pt difference then it would have been the difference between 1st and 2nd, and in that case I am inclined to agree, but I think the reason the author downplayed it in this case is due to the fact that both of the highest scoring players started after the event began- hence, for them at least, it was not really so important.
in my opinion those IMs are just IMs with the chess prowess of a GM

I don't get the point of the title except to attract attention. You're comparing accomplishments for different things in chess. Why should it be a surprise that IMs, FMs, NMs and the occasional untitled player can be better at faster time controls than GMs— the GM title isn't awarded for blitz or bullet prowess.
