Stronger opponents?

Hello Guys,

I'd like to ask about the "Do I gain more rating points against weaker or stronger opponents?" feature.

Nearly all of my games are played against opponents considered equal (24/27). My Rating at the time of the shot was 1946. Nonetheless rating gain is -0,9. How is that possible?

It makes absolutely no sense to me. Is this variable calculated with the static rating at the time the game was played or does it adjust dynamically? How can I interpret this value?

I believe that it means that in 24 games against similar opponents you lost 0.9 glicko points. What is no sense for you? Also the statistics are not exhaustive watching all games, but a percentage of them. I hope this help you :)

You can see also opponent rating vs opponent strength and you can see the average rating of weaker, similar and stronger opponents but this I believe that count all chess variants and not one in particular

Also, on the top left there is a button "Update Insights" and it calculates at the moment of the shot those statistics

Every time you have played a new rated game.

I can't update my insights.
