Are top players not playing real chess these days? (compared to computers)

They are already. Games without book between top engines are always draw. Even for testing new versions they use borderline lost openings to see which version holds better.
Chess is about finding the move that gives you the best practical chances. This may be the theoretically best move available but need not be. If you know your opponent is good at tactics it's usually best to play some quiet line even if somewhat inferior. If your opponent is an endgame expert, you might try for a wild position.

As I see it, this has nothing to do with "throwing someone off", rather to try for a position that suits me more than my opponent.

I hope you are not a Zionist Nazi Jew.

Where did you say 6.exf6 before me you Zionist Nazi Jew piece of shit?

Zionism and Nazism are fundamentally opposing(Zionism supports a homeland for the Jews while Nazism called for the extinction of the so called Jewish Bolsheviks), and calling someone a Nazi Jew is akin to calling someone a gay homophobic.
Are we still talking about real chess and computers?

As I see it, "style" is basically trying to bring the game where you are stronger, and avoiding uncomfortable situations. In that sense, "style" == "knowledge"...

Now, there is a choice in what you decide to learn and practice, which can be viewed as "style" but also as practical sense, taking into account what you are better for, or looking for other people's more weak areas.
I watched Magnus today , 1 inaccuracy, no human plan ,just like a machine, that’s why he’s the goat I guess.
But inspirational to me............. not at all. Chess is an art and should be beautiful........not like a machine plays.
