Feature request - Correspondence tournaments

Hello lichess community,

I used to play correspondence chess on a correspondence-only website back in the 00s while I was in university.

There were tournaments that worked like an elimination-style tournament. (You'd have 2^x players, and each round (ouf of the x rounds) the bottom half would get eliminated, and at the end only one winner would remain). It was pretty cool.

Anyone would be interested in having this as well? (Or some type of correspondence tournament really...)

Ain't gonna happen. Because it would be a cheat festival and hard to moderate.

Chess.com has many correspondence tournaments. (And I KNOW that this post will get some down-votes or horseys)

Hey, the correspondence used to organise such tournaments: lichess.org/team/correspondence. There hasn’t been recently though.

Unpopular opinion but chess.com is better for correspondence players . also look at RedHotPawn
