The reasons I have stopped reporting cheaters.

I have noticed cheaters also but know reporting doesn't do any good. you know them when you see them it evident when a computer is playing or helping. some off the wall move that is great is not very often seen even by a master or grandmaster some play stockfish 2nd best move. just play.
If it's evident then they get banned. If not then it's just your perception
@EloDecline

"2. Lichess doesn't care, they are extremely dismissive and condescending towards anyone who believes cheating is a big problem in online chess. (Can't emphasize that enough, they don't care, free site excuse)."

lichess allows people to make forums about it and talk its only if you shame people its a problem
its the community that is dismissive because every single cheater post is purely skeptical with no facts which makes it impossible to work to solve a problem without scope

can i see your exsperince in cheat detection do you have a phd in it work as a mod for a chess site or anything along those lines?
if no then understand just because you think x cheated does not mean they did because fun fact you are not always right
"free site excuse" - Well, I think that is a very reasonable excuse. If we were paying, then it would be reasonable to want the site monitored more. As it is, I think it unreasonable to badger Lichess about a problem which is not all-encompassing. When I win, it's always because I am the better player on the day; when I lose, it's usually because I wasn't up to it.
We don't have to pay and it's monitored just as well as chesscom (or even better, according to popular belief)

From what this moderator said, I don't think @EloDecline should have made his post, considering at least 5 got banned

oh wait, I found the platform! It's here!

- I haven't reported the vast majority of accounts I suspect of cheating because I know they will not meet the criteria that Lichess uses to determine cheating, even though I'm fairly certain they are.
- I have played far more than 5 cheaters.
There is a way for you to test if they take complaints seriously - cheat a few times, and see if you get banned.
