How is this not a draw, really !!!!

yes, there are checkmate positions with 2 knights and king, but they can't be forced.
This is one of the downsides of the (few) downsides of online chess.
Time can be against you and make you suffer.

This happens to @vkrish a lot because he has a twelve-hundred-something Ultrabullet rating.
He sucks at Ultrabullet.
One more tip: if you do not play increment and you get into K+N vs. K+N with less time, then do not check with your knight, rather play your king. The only way to the draw is if you can fork his king and knight with your knight, so that he must take your knight and draw, hence you have to keep the check in reserve for a fork.
