HOUDINI 6 for $50? Everywhere else it is like $80 +

Can this be correct? I Was thinking about purchasing the new Houdini 6, and everywhere except on place has it for about $80, it is relatively new.

But for $51?

If I was a conspiracy theorist I would say this is a form of stealth advertising.

It says to me when I click the link it is 59 Euros plus VAT so about $80.
Are you sure you are not looking at the standard version price and not the pro one?

When I click on the link it will take me to Payypal and my account converts the Euro to $51 USA. Where are you located? I suppose if I get fleeced I can file a claim with Paypal... Still not sure if it is for real? Why the lowest price. Plus if I have Frtiz 15 do I even want Houdini 6?

Why not just use stockfish 8, the difference in engines isn't that much at our level I think?

@chironik when you scroll down it shows you two options. Houdini standard and Houdini pro. The $51 will be for the standard version which is 39.95 euros which i've calculated to be $49.79 so it sounds about right to me. The $80 version you see everywhere is for houdini pro. Which you can buy on that site as well.

Rather odd. The Houdini standard everywhere else is about $73 +

@chironik I didn't check the chessbase price for the standard version. My bad. On Amazon it's $74.94. You could always contact the site on the email they provide with your concerns. They might just be doing a deal on the standard version as the pro seems to be the normal price.

So since it is a great price, if I already own Frit 15, would Houdini 6add be of any benefit?
